教材内容分析

本堂课的教学内容是仁爱版八年级上册的Unit 2 Topic 3 Section A第二单元谈论的是如何保持健康,第三话题谈论的是如何预防流感,介绍了如何才能保持健康,并养成良好的生活习惯。教育学生要珍惜健康,加强锻炼。

 

教学重点

1. keep away from, build sb. up, take some medicine, go ahead, take one’s advice等短语的理解及运用。

2. 能用first, second, third, finally有序地进行表达。

教学难点

1. May I ask you some questions? some 在疑问句中的运用。

2. Must we…? 的否定回答:No, we don’t have to. / No, we needn’t.

任务型教学法,情境教学法

 

 

学情分析

对于初二学生来说,他们积累了一些基本的词汇,也会运用一些简单的句型。但学生的听力和写作能力相对较弱。同时,八年级学生容易产生两极分化的现象,部分同学已经产生了厌倦英语的现象,因此在我们的教学过程中,我们要兼顾到不同层次的同学,设计不同梯度的教学任务,以小组讨论区、合作学习、独立思考去的形式进行教学。

Step 1 Lead-in

1. Greet the students.

2. Act as a journalist and interview one group about how to keep healthy.

T: I’m a journalist from CCTV. May I ask you a question?

T: Do you know how to keep healthy?

Step 2 Pre-listening

1. Review the illnesses.

2. Show some sentences and lead in the new words.

3. Teach the new words.

4. Ask Ss to give some advice on how to prevent the illnesses by reviewing we should/ shouldn’t/ must/ mustn’t…

Step 3 While-listening

1. Broadcast the tape and ask students to check Dr. Li’s advice.

2. Invite students to share their answers.

Step 4 Post-listening

1. Ask students to watch the flash and write down Dr. Li’s advice with first, second, third and finally.

2. Have a role play and invite several groups to act it out.

3. Invite two pairs to practice 1d.

 

 

 

 

Step 5 Summary

1. Invite a student to summarize what we have learnt.

2. Show the summary.

(1) We learn new words, phrases, and sentences: journalist, question, crowded, build sb. up, keep away from, take one’s advice, we should keep our rooms clean and the air fresh.

(2) We know how to prevent the flu.

(3)We can use must/had better/should to give advice.

Step 6 Homework

1. Ask students to recite la.

2. Ask students to write a short passage about how to prevent the flu.
